There’s an adage, “It’s not what you say, it’s what you do.” This applies to sharing your voice with the world.

Right now you may be raw. You may not have refined your writing and felt your ideas are worth anything.

But it’s because they live up in your head.

Get them out on paper. Share them.

It may be tough but it gets better with practice.

Here are 3 simple rules I have for creating ideas that may help.

1. My Notes app is littered with ideas, quotes, and insights. Whenever I think of something I jot it down.
2. I create now and edit later. I don’t critique the work. Then, whether 5 minutes or 5 days later, I’ll give it a quick edit.
3. I journal often. You may not share those journal entries with the world but it may spark an idea that could help others. (Here’s how I journal if you wanted an idea on what to do)

Those are some things I do to get my ideas out there.

I hope they help you get out of your head and spawn those ideas into existence.
