A couple of months ago I graced the storied grounds of my college golf course, affectionately known as “Downback”.

As I was playing the course the memories starting pouring over me. Hundreds of rounds of golf on this course. Thousands of golf balls hit at the range. Priceless memories.

I finished college 18 years ago. Looking back on all the time that has evaporated, it confirmed one large truth.

Any given golf shot or round of golf was insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It had close to zero effect on my current life. But, at the time, every shot dangled a delicate balance between life or death.

The amount of stress, frustration and anxiety it put on my life at that time is immeasurable.

It begs the question, What are we stressing over right now that will be so insignificant in 18-months let alone 18 years?

What can we let go off to free ourselves of this unnecessary pressure we are putting on ourselves?
