Episode 100 features, Sara Ondrako, Canine Behavior Consultant and the Founder & Executive Director of the American Pit Bull Foundation. Sara also happens to be my sister-in-law and having had the chance to get a first hand look of the great things she has done to grow her foundation I was pleased to welcome her to the Podcast to share her journey.

About Sara:

I’m a Canine Behavior Consultant and the Founder / Executive Director of the American Pit Bull Foundation.

I’ve been involved with animals all throughout my life. It started when I was 12 with my first volunteer job at the zoo working around exotics, then progressed to raptors and on to canines.

I started the American Pit Bull Foundation in 2010 with the idea of educating the public and bringing about change to how pit bull type dogs are perceived. In 2015, we launched Operation Sidekick, our shelter-to-service program that trains rescued pit bulls as service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD.

I recently launched my YouTube channel to help people better communicate with their dogs. That channel centers around behavior, health, training and product reviews to help build the bond between people and their dogs.
