Episode 56 is on fire with Neil Pasricha, Author, Speaker, Podcast Host, etc. I heard Neil speak at an event early in 2019 and made a point to reach out to him to get him on the Podcast. Was so appreciate for him taking some time out to share his story. I don’t think conversations around happiness and fulfillment in life happen as much and it is just assumed that you’ll be happy if you continue on some set path society puts you on at an early age. I’m glad Neil is touring the world to share a different message and help people rethink what happiness really should be.

I founded the creative studio, Mtn. & Co., an independent brand and interactive design studio for the sports & entertainment business.
As principal & creative director, I design, develop business relationships and manage a team of trusted collaborators on art direction, visual design, typography, UX/UI, web development, photography, content creation, copywriting and more.

Episode 28 features Bryan Wish, Growth Consultant for global-impact visionaries and the marketing strategist behind Allen Gannett’s book “The Creative Curve”. I met Bryan serendipitously last year when setting up Allen Gannett on the Just Get Started Podcast. Unfortunately, as I tell the story, the audio didn’t record properly and the interview with Allen never launched. Episode 17 features Professional Golfer and Social Media Influencer Tisha Abrea. I came across Tisha last year and was impressed with her personality and style to help promote her uniqueness and grow her brand online. Besides her own brand (which she gives props to Paige Spiranac @_paige.renee for the push), she is working hard to bring the @womenwithdrive movement to light with her friend @nikkibgolf and promote the game to women of all ages.
As you’ll gather from our interview, Tisha has a tremendous personality and sense of humor and shares many stories of how she got into the game of golf, competing under pressure, advice to the younger athletes, and dancing…of course we discuss her dancing 🙂

In Episode 16 I get a chance to speak with a talented musician and America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient, Michael Ketterer. I saw Michael’s performance on AGT and was extremely inspired by his story as well as his great voice. I reached out to him and he graciously accepted the invite. Michael is a Pediatric Mental Health Nurse by trade and has been involved in music since his father exposed him to it when he was very young.
Michael and I speak about his childhood and how his father got him into music, his family as a great support system, getting a chance to be interviewed by Mario Lopez and of course we get some of his insight surrounding his life changing performance on America’s Got Talent. EPISODE 15: CEO, Dear Media | Co-Host of The Skinny Confidential His and Her Podcast

Episode 15 features Michael Bosstick, CEO of Dear Media, a Podcast network primarily focused around female hosts and talent, and he is the Co-Host of the Skinny Confidential Him and Her Podcast. I was fortunate to interview his wife, Lauryn Evarts (@theskinnyconfidential) back in Episode 11 and really enjoyed getting a chance to speak with Michael in this episode and learning about his unique story.
Michael learned early on from his father that you have to work for what you want and after some early childhood jobs he figured out that he wanted to pave his own path and create opportunities for himself. Early after college Michael ventured out to fill a gap he found in corporate aircrafts with a business called JetBeds and has now grown that over the last 10 years to be the most successful company in the space.
Michael is now extremely involved in digital media and finding new and creative ways to build an online brand. We converse about many topics including business, the power of voice as a platform of the future, and many other intriguing insights.
I enjoyed one of Michael’s quotes where he says, “I spend 90% of my time focusing on solutions and 10% of the time looking at the problem”, and it’s no surprise he’s been successful with his optimistic mindset on business and how to scale effectively.
Episode 14 features Carolynn Lemke, the Founder of Noble Friends Shop. Was excited to get the chance to speak with Carolynn not only because of the great work she is doing to grow her business but because we go way back to the same small town as her and I graduated high school together. I’m so proud to see the success of many of my classmates and after learning more of Carolynn’s story I am cheering her on even more as her journey continues.
Carolynn has a tremendous personality and a gift for illustration and I think anyone seeking to find their own creativity, looking to start their own business, or just needing some inspiration to get started will pull a lot from this interview.
Episode 13 features the @49ersfangirl Tracy Sandler and we have a wide-ranging conversation on sports, relishing new opportunities, being nimble, and much more.
I was intrigued to learn more about Tracy and the Fangirl Sports Network when I came across her profile many months back. It’s great to see someone that saw a gap in the market, especially relating to content focused for the female fan, and then took the opportunity to do something about it instead of just sitting on the idea and doing nothing with it. The trajectory of the Fangirl Sports Network is pointing upwards and it will be exciting to see all of the interesting things they do as they grow into this season and beyond.

Episode 12 picks up right where we left off and I interview Chris David Garcia, the creator of the Major Level Creative CONNECT sports conference as well as the Creative Director for the Houston Astros.
I met Chris about 3 years ago and we have been friends ever since and I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to join three MLC Connect Conferences in the past and look forward to the continued success of the conference as they hit the 5-year anniversary mark this June. Chris is an extremely talented graphic designer but more than that is his personality and character which are phenomenal in the way he interacts and treats others. He is a very selfless individual that is always looking for ways to help others become the best version of themselves and improve their own craft.
Furthermore, I feel Chris has been a disruptor in the creative world and his insightful ideas and passion for always bringing your best has led to the creation of probably the best conference I have ever been to. It’s intimate. It’s personal. It’s educational. It’s fun. Top notch speakers surrounded by some of the most talented people in the sports design world. It’s incredible!
Those reasons are exactly why I told Chris prior to launching the podcast that he has to be a guest as I knew he’d be able to bring the fire as well as some great stories. He didn’t disappoint in this episode at all!
Episode 11 Features The Creator of The Skinny Confidential, Lauryn Evarts. Lauryn has been blogging almost every day for the past 8 years and has build an incredible following online through many social channels but it all funnels back to her website, TheSkinnyConfidential.com. She is a blogger, an author, a podcaster, an influencer and much much more.
In this discussion, we pinpointed on a few key topics around her upbringing, how her two-day stint in a sorority and a bartending encounter motivated her to build an online community, and she gives some very poetic advice to those that are looking to build their own brand.

This was a fun episode to record as it was my first in-person interview and it definitely allowed for some more interaction. As all the statistics say, 55% of communication is body language so it helped having Hank in the same room and kept the energy at an all time high.

Episode 9 was a blast talking with Speaker and Author David Rendall. I met David for the first time in the spring of 2017 at the High Five Conference in Raleigh, NC where he was giving a keynote and he left an imprint on my life because I agreed so much with what he was speaking about. It was almost like he was speaking directly to me and some of his experiences actually helped guide me onto some of the things I am involved in today.
In this episode we discussed a variety of topics associated with valuing not only your strengths but also your weaknesses and pursuing adulthood with things that make you happy and are what you want to do vs what others think you should be doing. Episode 7 welcomes Founder of BogeyBoxGolfClub.com Nik Bando. Nik has been an entrepreneur for most of his adult life all starting with his innovative idea to create new engagement and sponsorship opportunities while at Virginia Tech.
From there, Nik took his passion for journalism and spun that into learning the ins and outs of digital media and how that was starting to effect the buying behaviors of the everyday consumer. While working at VaynerMedia for well-known entrepreneur and businessman Gary Vaynerchuk he sharpened his digital media chops and took the leap to start his current business, BogeyBoxGolfClub, after many poor shopping experiences both in stores and online.
