Luck is being in the right place at the right time.

But it’s also being prepared for what might happen in those moments.

Joe Rogan has the most popular podcast on the planet and with the help of his Audio Engineer, “Young” Jamie, it adds a fun element to the conversations and is one of the reasons the podcast is universally liked.

But that relationship might have never taken form if it wasn’t for one fateful evening.

Jamie met Joe after his performance at a comedy club. As they were talking, Jamie simply said “I think there are some things off with your audio on the podcast.”

Joe was curious to know what it was so he asked Jamie if he’d come by the studio to take a look.

The rest, they say, is history.

Luck is all around us but we often miss out on moments because we aren’t prepared.

Prepared with our skills
Prepared to make an ask
Prepared to stand up for ourselves.

Luck might be on the surface but there’s a whole deeper level of work that builds the foundation.
