The internet and social media are not bad. They are tools.
The same way a hammer and a chainsaw are. If done right, they are insanely useful.
The question then is how are you using these tools?
→ Are you scrolling mindlessly or acquiring new skills?
→ Are you becoming indoctrinated with ideas that keep you in an echo chamber or are you using the vast knowledge to form your own opinions?
→ Are you becoming anxious and depressed or hopeful and energized?
Like anything else, they are tools. Tools can always have alternative uses.
It’s what we choose to do with them that matters.
