Believe It Or Not

If my son could only be great at one thing it’s an easy choice to make.

I’d want him to have immense self-belief.

People who are living their happiest lives are doing so because they believe in their cause, their relationships, and their decisions.

They don’t question themselves and think the moment is too big for them.

They have tremendous confidence in their ability to tackle a new endeavor, even the most harrowing of them.

That’s what I wish my son had above all else.

That’s something I try to instill in him every day even though the world beats us down from every angle to make us think we aren’t good enough.

It’s a story we make up in our heads.

It’s only true if we believe it.
