Stopping Short

There’s likely a good reason why you’re not getting the results you want.

You’re stopping too early.

How long will it take? I have no idea and neither do you but it’s likely longer than you had envisioned when you started.

Why? Because it goes slow before it goes fast.

Momentum has to be built.

You have to struggle through plateauing.

There will be challenges you never expected.

Before you quit remember why you started.

It wasn’t about a short-term gain and a sprint to some arbitrary finish line. It was about proving to yourself that you are capable of getting an idea out of your head and making it become a reality.

Starting is not the hardest part. The hardest part is bracing the avalanche of fear that comes when we get hit with a challenging situation. Do we push through or turn away?

Don’t stop short.

Keep pushing forward.

Success is a long game. Don’t give up just because you aren’t winning out of the gate.
